With the threat of rain all day, it didn’t stop Nathan and Madeleine coming out to get their engagement photos taken! The rain held off for the most part, but started sprinkling near the end of the session. Luckily, Maddy brought a clear umbrella that I just knew we HAD to use at some point!
When I contacted Maddy that it was time we take their engagement photos, I had a few locations in mind! The first location ended up closing for good so we couldn’t use the property. The next location I had in mind I had previously shot at a couple weeks prior. Maddy messages me a few days later and mentions the Tiny Marsh is a location she was interested in shooting at! I had never been to the Tiny Marsh Provincial Wildlife Area before, and I’ve lived in Tiny Township most of my life – so I was pretty excited to explore this property! The location of the marsh is secluded and full of beautiful nature and wildlife! We even saw a turtle nesting – something I’ve never witnessed before!!
Last year when Maddy first inquired about hiring me to take their wedding photos, I asked my usual questions about their story (how the proposal happened, etc.) It turns out Nathan proposed to Maddy back in the fall of 2016. They were taking their new puppy for a walk and, as Maddy was playing in the leaves with the puppy, he proposed!
Maddy’s ring is GORGEOUS!
They are the cutest couple ever and were such naturals during this session! I cannot wait until their wedding in September!
Enjoy their engagement photos!
Look at the turtle nesting!!
I told Nathan to whisper “sweet nothings” into Maddy’s ear… He literally whispered “sweet nothings” and Maddy’s reaction was amazing! I love her laugh and all of the JOY they share!
