I provide a joyful and effortless photographic experience to brides and grooms, couples, families, and parents-to-be! When I'm not creating timeless imagery, you can find me updating my first home with my other half, Tyler, or binge-watching Netflix with a bowl of popcorn nearby.
On September 11th, David and Victoria said “I do!” and tied the knot during their intimate backyard “minimony” in Barrie, Ontario. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they had to postpone their big wedding. However, September 11th is a very important date to them – it’s their anniversary – and they wanted to make sure they made their marriage official on that date.
Victoria initially reached out to me on Instagram to ask about my availability and to book me for their minimony. I was SO excited because I haven’t shot a small, intimate wedding before, only big ones! It was just going to be their parents, grandma, and uncle in attendance (and their dogs Oakley and Subie, of course)!
As I walked into their house, I was immediately welcomed by Victoria, David, and their family with warmth and happiness! We talked a little bit, and then I began photographing the details. Their house is absolutely gorgeous and I love how Victoria had their dining room set up like a mini reception table.
Once everyone was ready, we headed outside for the minimony! It was quite an intimate affair and David and Victoria celebrated their union with a Corona, Lime Juice, and Tequila mixtue. It looked delicious! After the minimony and family portraits, we headed over to Bear Creek Eco Park for their newlywed portraits.
Victoria and David, thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your minimony. I loved meeting you two and providing you with photos of your marriage to cherish for a lifetime. I hope you enjoy my favourites from your big day!
