I provide a joyful and effortless photographic experience to brides and grooms, couples, families, and parents-to-be! When I'm not creating timeless imagery, you can find me updating my first home with my other half, Tyler, or binge-watching Netflix with a bowl of popcorn nearby.
Amica and Simon’s Georgian Bay elopement was definitely one for the books. I have a new found love for elopements after this gorgeous, sun-filled but cold and windy day! More elopements, please!
It was important that they have their Georgian Bay elopement somewhere they could see (and have in their photos) Giant’s Tomb Island. They chose a small, sheltered, rocky beach area with an amazing view of the island. This was most important to Amica and Simon because that’s where they have their cottage. They love to spend their free time and weekends at the cottage with drinks, friends, and family.
Another thing I loved about this Georgian Bay elopement was Amica’s bouquet. It had a single red rose because Simon would bring her home a red rose every year they were together. How sweet is that?!
Quite possibly one of my favourite things about elopements is that NO ONE KNOWS THEY’RE GETTING MARRIED. Amica and Simon opted to tell everyone their exciting news that evening at a planned “pizza party” at Simon’s sister’s house. Friends and family were invited over for pizza and drinks and wouldn’t find out why until they got there and saw the decorations and cake! Simon and Amica arrived later on and all of their family and friends were so excited to see them and celebrate with them.
Simon and Amica’s Georgian Bay elopement was intimate, relaxed, and romantic. They ended their day with a sparkler exit, drinks, and good food surrounded by family and close friends. Enjoy some of my favourites from their day!
Congratulations Simon and Amica!
